PENERAPAN BAHASA SANTUN TERHADAP PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER ANAK USIA DINI DI PAUD BUAH HATI KABUPATEN ACEH TENGAH

Abstract

Education is very important for children or adults. Language is a very important communication tool, without language there will be no friendly communication. In the structure of early childhood education polite language is preferred, because language is one part of the aspects of early childhood development. Impolite speaking can lead to communication gaps, leading to bad situations in a variety of environments, including families, schools, and communities. Often the words of parents, teachers and even the children themselves in daily communication using language that is not polite. The Polite behavior can be seen from the attitude of parents, teachers and even children when meeting teachers, such as greetings, handshakes, and kissing hands. While the attitude that is not polite appears when there are reprimands, orders, prohibitions that are not in accordance with the conscience of children. Based on the observations made by the authors, this is different, in Buah Hati they apply character education that is packaged in polite language. Students consisting of various backgrounds, different age levels and different emotional levels, in everyday speaking polite teachers in interacting with students, which according to observations of the teacher's language has an impact on each child's character. How is the Application of Courtesy to Early Childhood Character Education in PAUD Buah Hati Regency of Central Aceh, this research method is a Field Research, with an educational approach to the nature of descriptive qualitative research that illustrates and explains the facts in the field. The results of this study, there are twenty-four concepts in polite language related to the character of children are contained in the 9 pillars of character. The polite language of early childhood character education in PAUD Buah Hati is by fostering trust in children, applying forgiveness to each other, saying the words "Help" and "Thank You" and saying the words of the great child of God dear, so what the teachers do in make students peaceful in everyday life.
